Valencia has become our home, and we’re beyond excited to share it with you on this special occasion!
How to get to Valencia ?
If you are coming from abroad, the most convenient option is to fly to Valencia airport. The airport is 8 km away from the city center, you can get a taxi upon arrival (20 to 25€) or take the metro line 3 running from 6.am to 11.30pm.
If you cannot find a flight to Valencia, you can consider the following options : Madrid (MAD), Barcelona (BCN), Alicante (ALC).
From these airports you can travel to Valencia by train (Renfe) or bus (Omio or Alsa). Valencia's main train station are Estaciòn Joaquin Sorolla and Estacio del Nord.
Accommodation
We recommend that you look for an accommodation in the old town, also known as "Ciutat Vella" .You will find a list of recommended accomodations in the FAQ section

Frequently Asked Questions – Of course, please feel free to reach out if you don’t find the answer to your question in the list below.
Please confirm your attendance by filling out our RSVP form by September 1st. To make sure we have all the necessary details, we kindly ask that each person in your household fills out the form separately. This will help us plan everything smoothly for your arrival. Thank you! 💕✨
Our wedding follows wedding etiquette, but above all, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the day with us. If you prefer a more casual outfit, that’s totally fine—come as you feel best! ✨💃🕺
Shoes matter :
Part of the venue is in a garden with grass and gravel, so we recommend opting for block heels, wedges, or flats instead of stilettos for comfort and ease. 💐👡
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of close family members’ children. We hope you can enjoy this special day as a fun and relaxing getaway. Thank you for understanding! 💕✨
We recommend staying in Valencia’s Old Town : Ciutat Vella (El Carmen, La Seu, etc.). It’s a charming and lively area full of history, narrow streets, and Mediterranean character — perfect for enjoying the city’s unique atmosphere. You’ll find a wide range of hotels, apartments, and accommodations to suit all budgets, all within walking distance of major landmarks, restaurants, and cafés.
The area is also well connected by public transport, making it easy to get around during your stay.
It can be a bit noisy at night as it is a very lively part of the city, you might want to consider getting an accommodation that is not on the 1st floor and pack some sleeping earplugs just in case… It seems that around plaza del Colegio del Patriarca is quieter.
We’ve put together a map with all our favorite spots, including hotels, restaurants, bars, breakfast places, and cafés. You’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay in Valencia! 🌍🍽️☕✨

If you’re planning a longer stay, you’ll most likely want to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. You can find some apartments recommendations in the old town on our map.
You might also prefer to be a little outside the most touristy areas for a more local experience. In that case we personally love Arrancapins — well-located, central, and pleasant for everyday life. We live in Patraix, near Mercado de Jesús, which is also a great neighborhood with a more local feel.
For going out, Ruzafa is one of the liveliest areas, full of great places for drinks and dinner. It’s always buzzing and a great spot to enjoy Valencia’s nightlife! 🍷✨
During this time of year, Valencia enjoys mild autumn weather. Daytime temperatures typically range between 20-25°C, while evenings and nights can be cooler, around 12-16°C. It’s generally pleasant, but we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for the evenings. Rain is possible but not very frequent. 🌤️🍂
Welcome to the city of sunshine! We recommend visiting the city center to explore:
- Central Market,
- La Lonja de la Seda,
- The Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas,
- The Serranos and Quart Towers,
- Plaza de la Virgen,
- The Turia Gardens,
- Mercado de Colòn,
- The Cathedral.
On your way to Ruzafa, a traditional neighborhood full of lively bars and restaurants, vintage and arty shops, you’ll pass by Estación del Norte and Plaza de Toros.
For a more modern experience, don’t miss The City of Arts and Sciences, which includes a planetarium and the Oceanographic Museum.
If you’d like to enjoy the beach, we recommend La Patacona, Malvarrosa Beach, Port Saplaya, and Playa del Saler.
If you have time for a trip outside the city, don’t miss Xàbia (89 km from Valencia) and Altea (132 km)—both are beautiful coastal towns worth visiting! 🌊☀️✨
Another great destination, though a bit farther away, is Cuenca (around 200 km from Valencia). This charming city is famous for its hanging houses (Casas Colgadas), its stunning medieval old town, and the breathtaking Ciudad Encantada, a natural rock formation that looks like something out of a fairytale. If you’re up for a longer excursion, Cuenca is definitely worth a visit! 🏰✨
Important Note: If you visit Turia Gardens, especially for a picnic or to relax on the grass, be mindful of pickpockets. Keep an eye on your belongings and avoid leaving bags or valuables unattended.
We kindly ask everyone to take the bus we’ve arranged to get to the wedding venue. This will help ensure that all guests arrive together and on time. For the way back, you’ll have more flexibility—there will be taxi phone numbers available if you prefer to return at a different time. Thank you for understanding! 🚌💛
For those who still have energy after the wedding party, you’re welcome to join us at a club to keep the celebration going! 🎶✨ This is still being organized, but we’ll share more details closer to the date. Stay tuned! 🕺💃
